JACOB ALEJANDRO - Albany is a coffee shop in Albany, New York. It is listed at Coffee Shop, 466 Madison Ave, Albany, NY 12208, which places it among the local businesses of Albany that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–4 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Albany is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Albany is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

(vanilla citrus spiced latte) 50% sweet, but still a bit too sweet for my liking. Good flavour, wish I could taste coffee a bit more. Expensive upcharge for oatmilk. Good milk texture. Would come back to try other drinks. Honey oat scone was decent.

If you are looking for interesting twist on coffee, matcha, and speciality lattes this is the place for you. Their lattes and Matcha is delicious. The matcha is high quality and they typically make them well. We tried the Matcha Paraside (Strawberry Matcha) and although strawberry matcha is common it was somehow still unique. It was delicious. We have tried a few other lattes that were not our favorites but it is worth experimenting with unfamiliar flavors you may find something you like with trail and error. The noise level is typically moderate to easy to talk. They have a variety of seating arrangements from booths, tables, and sofas. The atmosphere is moody yet inviting. I highly recommend giving them a try!

Jacob Alejandro has great coffee and snacks. You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into this cafe. Love the dark green, old Irish pub kind of design. Baristas are very nice and knowledgeable. They have creativity in their menu. There is a horchata latte, surprisingly not bad at all. I still prefer their regular latte. I wish they sell pandebono instead of Brazilian cheese bread PΓ£o de Queijo, just my personal preference

I had such a great experience at JACOB ALEJANDRO - Albany. I stopped in for coffee and was immediately met with such friendly, welcoming staff, it really set the tone. You can tell the drinks here are made with real intention and care. Both my parent and I loved our lattes, they were honestly some of the best we’ve had in a while. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully crafted. The shop itself is very clean and beautifully decorated, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. It feels like one of those places you keep coming back to, not just for the coffee but for the overall experience. I would 100% recommend this spot and will definitely be returning!

Beautiful atmosphere. There is a paio area but it fills up quickly on a weekend. I got the vanilla citrus iced latte and it was delicious. I like my coffee light and sweet and I didn't need to add anything to this it was the perfect amount of sweetness without being to much. I unfortunately did not try any food items but they looked delicious. Also right across from Washington Park which made for a great walk. I was able to enjoy the atmosphere then grab a to-go cup to walk the park.
